Ty Segall literally just destroyed at Beerland. He and his band ripped through a set of scratchy, but melodic, punk that got spastic at all the right moments.
Frustrated by a malfunctioning guitar, Segall smashed it apart on the stage at set’s end. The songs were great, but I admit it was also cool to see a little gear mutilation as well. Either way, count Segall as one of the top acts in the Goner stable.
