Cropped Out is a locally and independently developed music festival set to take place in Louisville, Kentucky, September 28 to 30. Designed to highlight the creative efforts of Louisville natives, as well as fellow thinkers from outside the Derby City, the three-day festival aims to to turn heads, if only for one weekend, toward the talents of those often omitted, overlooked or “cropped out.” This year’s festival is highlighted by such Agit favs as Slug Guts, TV Ghost, Jandek, and Chain and the Gang, as well as Eugene Chadbourne, Merchandise, Lil’ B, and Papa M, who will top things off at Sunday’s closing festivities.
So obviously, we are excited to be giving away a pair of passes to the Cropped Out Festival once again this year. To be entered in the drawing, send an email with the subject “Cropped Out” that includes your name to “contest (at) agitreader.com.” You can increase your chances of winning by following us on Twitter and Facebook. To gain an additional entry in the drawing, follow us on Twitter and retweet our tweet about this contest. And to gain yet another entry, share this page on Facebook and tag the Agit Reader in your post. In other words, it is possible to have your name in the proverbial hat up to three times. All entries must be received by 11:59pm on September 23. The winner will be notified on September 24.
